We knew Thomas’ return would be no dreary affair. Yet, seeing him come home engaged was certainly unexpected, point The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers. That too, with Paris! That really sort of crept on us out of nowhere. But, we wonder, what the reality behind this unexpected and fast engagement is. Let’s find out!
In a recent chat with Soaps In Depth, Matthew Atkinson revealed that Thomas is just trying to move on in his life. It is a genuine effort he is making. However, he does tease that coming back home to share the news with his family will surely open the doors for a reality check.
You see, till the time he and Paris were in Paris, they were on their own, away from the drama that is always prevalent back home. But, now that they are back in Los Angeles, things will be different. Thomas will have to manage his relationship with Paris, while also tackling his deep feelings for Hope. Which we really doubt have faded.
However, we wonder, even if Thomas did rekindle his relationship with Paris to move on, what was the rush to be engaged? Could it be that Paris ended up pregnant after some steamy bedroom games back in Paris? If that’s the case, then the engagement certainly makes sense. Thomas has previously made it clear that he wants to get married and have a family.

Sure, by family he meant Douglas, Hope, and him. But hey, when times change, so does the meanings. Moreover, if Paris really is pregnant, then Thomas’ duties towards her and their baby could get really complicated if his and Hope’s old flame starts reigniting again. That’s just so much drama!
And that’s exactly what Matthew Atkison teased to the media. “If it’s not complicated, it’s not a mess and it’s not dramatic, then what are we doing, really?” he mused. Thomas really don’t know who he wants. I wish Stephanie stayed out of people business before her marriage ends and she won’t have nobody. Thomas needs to be single for awhile so he can get his life straight.
