The Bold and the Beautiful recently welcomed Dr. Taylor Hayes, and Rebecca Budig is stepping into the role this time. The character is back in Los Angeles to be closer to her family. How did her family take it? Well, Steffy was over the moon! She’s all about having her mom living under the same roof as her and Finn.
In a fun chat with The T.V. Watercooler, MacInnes about working with Budig. “She thinks Rebecca “gives a new spin to Taylor, which is fun.” Moreover, Wood teased how their characters just reflect the tight bond they have. Her character usually leans on Taylor, especially after all the drama she’s been through.
Remember how she almost killed Sheila and got locked up by Luna, the maniac? But we know that Taylor has been harboring this BIG bombshell from her daughter regarding her health. A doctor from Europe broke the soul-crushing news of her heart failure. Then, she got a second opinion and found out she was dealing with a broken heart.
Somebody, please call 911 and fix Tay’s heart! In the meantime, Steffy’s been trying hard to avoid meddling in her parents’ love lives. But she can’t help but notice how well Taylor and Ridge fit together, just like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. So, could we see them uniting in the near future? Or will Taylor stay miserable? Well, this time, the script has been flipped!

It turns out that Taylor is the one in need now, and Steffy’s stepping up as her “mama bear.” According to Jacqueline, Steffy’s reaction to her mom’s diagnosis is a “mixture of feelings.” So, the role reversal is happening!
