The Young and The Restless Spoilers: A Custody Battle On The Cards?
In a recent chat with the media, The Young and The Restless star expressed his sentiments about a possible Tara return. “Oh, yes. That is something I have dreamed about,” he enthused. Furthermore, he added that he loves the idea of Tara coming back and fighting Summer and Kyle for Harrison’s custody.

The Kyle actor feels that not only would it be a thrilling war between the trio, but also spill on to Harrison. The little boy thinks of Summer as his mother now, so his bio-mom’s return could send him spinning in confusion. He may struggle to wrap his head around the new complications in his relationships.
Harrison’s kidnapping drama on The Young and The Restless could even become the basis of Tara’s release from prison, and the backbone of her custody battle. Her lawyer could easily claim that Harrison will always be in danger as long as he lives with The Newmans and The Abbotts.

This would strengthen Tara’s case against Summer and Kyle. If this happens, Summer will certainly be a wreck because she can’t even comprehend the idea of staying away from Harrison temporarily, let alone losing him entirely to Tara. This could push Kyle to level up his game, and stand strong to defend his family.
While, on paper the above seems like a killer and natural flow for the ongoing story, we haven’t heard any updates on actress Elizabeth Lanier reprising the role, or the makers recasting it. However, we for one would love to see the story take this turn on The Young and The Restless.

I have been saying it since Kyle sent summer packing. That Tara NEEDS TO COME BACK and claim her son. It would drive that smug Kyle crazy if he lost his son to her. Please writers. …come on and bring someone in to play Tara and have it be a Good storyline this time around.
