The canvas of CBS giant Y&R just became bigger! The Young and The Restless comings and goings reveal that seasoned actor Christopher Cousins has joined the ranks as Alan Laurent. The handsome performer has come aboard on a recurring capacity and will make his debut in the April 30, 2024, episode.
The Young and The Restless comings and goings spill that Alan Laurent is a psychiatrist and has been a longtime friend to Ashley Abbott. As the episodes progress it will be revealed that the two met while she was living in Paris.

Interestingly, actor Christopher Cousins is no stranger to Daytime television. He has previously appeared in over 40 episodes of daytime legend – One Life To Live. There, he portrayed the character of Cain Rogan – a conman. Furthermore, he has more recently appeared on ABC’s iconic soap, General Hospital, as Dr. Kirk in 2020.
