Linden Ashby Returns As Cameron
According to the latest updates, Linden Ashby’s Cameron Kirsten is back on The Young And The Restless. Cameron, who was killed by Sharon in 2023, is now appearing in Sharon’s hallucinations. Following his exit last year, fans thought the character was gone forever. However, viewers were surprised to see Cameron back on screen last week.
We know that Ashby first debuted as Cameron back in 2003, and the role continued until 2004. In 2023, he made a dramatic return, only to be fatally stabbed by Sharon. The actor was just as amazed as the viewers when he was asked to return.
In a recent interview with TV Insider, the 64-year-old actor said, “It’s great because it’s not coming back from the dead. It’s not a ghost. It’s a person who is living in Sharon’s head, aware that he’s in her head and that he doesn’t exist. And that adds a huge wrinkle.”
He also mentioned that he’s delighted to be back on set and filming again. Since Cameron is a recurring character, we will see him for a limited time. Undoubtedly, his return will add mystery and intensity to the drama. Long-term viewers might remember that when the character first appeared on the soap, he was portrayed as a wealthy businessman with a dark past.
Anyway, the soap will continue Sharon’s storyline this week, highlighting her deteriorating mental health after stopping her bipolar medication. She will hallucinate Cameron, who will haunt her. Don’t miss the upcoming episodes to see Cameron’s haunting return in action.
