The Young and the Restless Comings and Goings: Not Really Back! Michael Damian Reveals His Whereabouts

The Young and the Restless Comings and Goings hint at a major drama the week of October 21-25. Some of our favorite faces, including Michael Damian (Danny Romalotti) are making a comeback! But, before you get too excited, there’s a bit of a twist when it comes to GC rockstar. Fans expected Danny to swoop into town but a recent tweet from the actor has us all wondering. So, what’s the deal with Danny’s return?

Damian Clears Up the Confusion 

The Young and the Restless Comings and Goings reveal Danny won’t make a grand physical entrance in Genoa City this time. That’s right, he’ll be gracing our screens virtually. So, Danny’s reunion with his son, Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei), is happening via video call. But why isn’t he coming back in flesh and blood?

After all, Daniel could really use some fatherly support on the heels of Heather’s episode that is spiralling out of control. Turns out, Damian has been a busy bee filming a new Netflix movie called The Wrong Paris up in Vancouver. And here’s the fun part—his wife, Janeen Damian, is directing it! The rom-com revolves around a woman who joins a dating show thinking she’s headed to Paris, France.

However, things become crazy when she realizes it’s actually Paris, TEXAS! Talk about a plot twist. Interestingly, Michael isn’t acting in this one and is playing a major role behind the scenes as a producer. Back in Genoa City, things aren’t looking so rosy for Daniel. The poor guy is sweating bullets as incriminating evidence keeps piling up against him.

He’s pretty much convinced the cops will be knocking on his door any minute now. But then an angel arrives to save the day- Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell). We wouldn’t be surprised if Danny had something to do with her arrival. With Christine on his side, Daniel has some hope. Still, it’s going to take a miracle to get him out of this mess.
