Since joining “Selling Sunset” in 2019, Stause hasn’t completely left her acting roots behind. However, her appearances on soaps have been quite irregular, with her returning to DOOL only a few times. But now, Chrishell Stause is gearing up to dive back into the soap opera scene with a fresh new role. She is joining the cast of Amazon Freevee’s Australian soap opera, “Neighbours.” The soap has been considered a staple in Australian television for decades.
The beloved series is popular for launching the careers of numerous stars, including Chris Hemsworth. The Young and the Restless alum is stepping into this iconic soap as Yasmine “Yas” Shields. She’s a glamorous and successful businesswoman who is keen on an exciting new opportunity. Furthermore, Executive producer Jason Herbison expressed his enthusiasm about Stause joining the cast.
“We created a character, especially for her, and we can’t wait for her to bring the storyline alive,” Herbison said. As for the Young and the Restless fame, Stause herself is ecstatic about the opportunity. “Coming from the world of soaps in the U.S., it’s back to my first love in the entertainment industry.”
