The Young And The Restless fans have been enjoying watching the return of the evil duo. Yep! you guessed it right, the devious Aunt Jordan and the equally dangerous Ian Ward, and we know they have been plotting together to take down their enemies in Genoa City! After murdering Heather Stevens and framing Sharon for it, the dynamic duo has been playing the cards right.
But it has affected Sharon’s image severely. Will she be redeemed? In a new interview with Soap Opera Digest, Y&R’s head writer, Josh Griffith, shed light on Sharon’s narrative and revealed that Mariah’s mother was never supposed to be Heather’s murderer. He said, “That’s why we very carefully laid it out so that we did not see the actual murder, and we had her wake up and find Heather’s body.”

The ever-so intriguing writer also explained how Jordan and Ian’s comeback and their working in cahoots will be the major revelation. He also confessed how pleased he was when viewers realised something wasn’t right about Sharon blacking out before she found the body. However, Sharon isn’t all innocent as to what happened after that – she got rid of Heather’s body and framed Daniel for it.
Even though she might not be responsible for killing someone, she does have a hand in hiding it. But it looks like the CBS soap will give Sharon the redemption she needs, as per Josh.
