What an awful storyline. Phyllis and the bug have been fighting over this man for decades. For these writers to show no evolution or maturity and these much over older women is offensive and unrealistic. By the time most women hit a certain age, they have more self respect than this. Also, Danny was a wimp for not keeping his word to make Phyllis dinner, in order to appease Cricket; that he took her with him was beyond the pale. Weak.
I totally agree. What Danny did to Phyllis is unforgiving and very immature. I have dumped men with this type of “teenage” attitude…. not worth my time at the expense of my emotions. Cricket has an obsessive and jealous streak, a very sick one at that, and needs to have that smug wiped off her face.

The writers made Danny look like a “CAD”. Accepting a dinner date with Phyllis, then withdrawing from the date and then being totally insensitive by tagging Christine tagging along. This is regardless what motives or delusions Phyllis may have., it is like taking her down again when she is barely settled on her own 2 feet. They could have had Danny have dinner with Phyllis (as this was intended to be a goodbye), and have Danny gently let Phyllis know where ihs heart belongs. In any case, they had Christine acting like an immature jealous witch, she was being so obsessed with Phyllis and could not wait to stick it to her. Past loves rarely truly survive because these types of people live in the past, rarely in the present or future. People change and move forward in different directions. If Christine has trouble handling Phyllis, how will she handle Danny’s obsessed fans.
Danny and Cricket have always belonged together!
Brown women and a man acting like they are teenagers. This story line was so crazy and immature. Never was a fan of Cricket, Ms Goodie Two Shoes. Phyllis needs a better written part because when she is truly in her element with an exciting story she is on fire 🔥. That’s how she has won her best actress awards in the past.

Phillis can do better than Danny, he is to much of a pansy for her. And he could have made the dam sauce for Phillis.
The writers need to squish the bug and let Phyllis be with Nick! They get each other and know how to have fun together!

Danny is OK but no prize package besides Phyllis is to much of a woman for Softy Danny boy.
