The love triangle between Christine, Danny, and Phyllis has been a rollercoaster of emotions. But it seems like the end might finally be in sight. Lauralee Bell and Michael Damian recently shared their thoughts on the drawn-out love triangle.
In an exclusive interview with Soaps.com, The Young And The Restless actors didn’t hold back in expressing their frustration with the storyline. According to Lauralee, Christine has reached her limit with Danny’s indecisiveness.
“Either you have to make a decision today, or I’m done because this is just not fun,” she said. “And, when Cricket and Danny are together, we equate that with fun, romance, and simplicity.”
The Young And The Restless actor, Michael, agreed with Lauralee, saying it’s time for Danny to choose. “There is a lot at stake for Danny in choosing to settle down with one woman,” he explained. “When Danny woke up and realized, ‘Oh, are you crazy to be even taking a chance of possibly losing [Christine] again?’ He came to his senses fast.”
The actors are hopeful that their characters will finally find happiness together, free from the love triangle drama. They long for the days of “happiness and champagne and roses” that characterized Danny and Christine’s relationship in the past.
