The Young and The Restless Spoilers reveal that Ashley Abbott’s homecoming is right around the corner. Thankfully, right in time for her daughter Abby Newman- Abbott’s wedding with Devon Hamilton. Fans would remember that Ashley had been recovering at a mental health facility after she was diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder, earlier this year.
However, Ashley has now recovered enough to be released from the facility and return home to Genoa City. Abby is absolutely thrilled by the news since she wants both her parents, Ashley and Victor, to walk her down the aisle. In fact, her return is actually a great breather for Ashley too, as she has suffered a lot in the previous months that led her to a mental breakdown.
Unfortunately, The Young and The Restless Spoilers reveal that there could be a trigger waiting for her in GC that could prove to be a great threat to her mental health. Once she returns to GC, she is sure to cross paths with Alan Laurent again. After all, he is dating her sister Taci Abbott. Initially, Ashley will be thrilled that Alan and Traci have found love with each other.
But that could just be the beginning of a much more horrifying outcome. It is no secret that fans are speculating about Alan actually being Martin. The evil twin has impersonated his brother before and successfully duped Ashley once. So, we won’t be surprised at all if Martin is trying to run the same con again. But will Ashley fall for it again? There is a chance that she may start to pick up on clues that point towards Alan actually being Martin.

It would be devastating to know that it was actually the good Dr. Alan Laurent who died in Paris after falling from the balcony. Especially since it would mean that Traci will once again lose at love, and end up being single again. Thus, a part of us wants Alan to truly be Alan. But we all know that’s not how the Soapverse functions. Ashley’s return could be the beginning of the end of Martin’s con.
