Lucy Romalotti’s interest in Faith Newman started small, but has now snowballed into downright obsession, reveal The Young and The Restless Spoilers. Despite Faith’s numerous efforts to deter Lucy, the youngster is just not ready to back off. She is completely determined to win Faith’s friendship, no matter the cost.
One would think that after the disastrous and scary accident, Lucy would learn a lesson. But nope! The girl is now all the more resolute to win a place in Faith’s life. The older girl straight out told Lucy that this friendship could not happen due to their age gap and that she should find pals her own age. But Lucy is just not willing to take the message.
The Young and The Restless Spoilers reveal that even after Sharon Newman rips into Lucy and asks her to back off, Lucy does not want to. It has now started to feel as if there is something internally wrong with the teen. Maybe the soap is laying the groundwork for another mental health story. Honestly, we won’t be surprised if Lucy has some mental issues. After all, she is Sheila Carter’s granddaughter!
That gene pool is severely messed up! We have seen Sheila go totally berserk on B&B trying to insert herself into her son’s life. So, maybe the apple hasn’t really fallen that far from the tree! Lucy too is exhibiting similar behavior. We wonder if, in the upcoming episodes, she’ll be pushed to her breaking point and act out in a dangerous manner.

Some Y&R updates hint that Lucy may take Faith captive in order to convince her that they are fated to be besties. She has previously shown way too much interest in the story where Cameron had taken Faith captive. Maybe Lucy will feel inspired by that and pull off her own version of a kidnapping. But what will be the consequences of such a dangerous move?
