The Young and The Restless Spoilers reveal that the year is coming to an end and so is a major chapter in Summer Newman’s life. Even though Summer and Kyle have been separated for a while, it seems that she is still in for a rude awakening about their relationship. Until recently, Summer was seeing Chance Chancellor. However, that ship has now sunk. And somewhere deep down, she still has some lingering feelings for Kyle.
Unfortunately for her, Kyle seems to have really moved on. He and Claire Grace Newman have made their relationship official. The Young and The Restless Spoilers reveal that the two will even have a private party for two to celebrate the new year. Summer is really not going to be happy when she finds out. We know she has a jealous streak. And it will turn into a full fledged rage soon enough.
In a recent interview with TV Insider, Y&R Head Writer and Executive Producer Josh Griffith teased a Romeo and Juliet story for Kyle and Claire. The couple will face plenty of opposition from the warring families. We are also certain that Summer will create numerous obstacles for the couple. In 2025, she will realize that her heart still yearns for Kyle, and she will want to win him back.
“Summer, in true ‘I’m Phyllis’s daughter’ fashion, will A, feel a pull back to Kyle and B, sense an opening, so if Victor and Jack weren’t enough for Kyle and Claire to have to worry about, Summer’s decision of, ‘Maybe I want Kyle back,’ is going to throw another wrench into that,” Griffith shared. Does this mean Summer will emerge as the Phyllis of her generation?

Summer is spoiled and manipulative like her mother. She always wants what she cannot have , then finds fault with it. Claire and Kyle are better together. They take care of each other in a positive way.
