The cheating cat is finally out of the bag on The Young and The Restless this week. Unfortunately, the truth bomb is bound the explode Sally and Adam’s relationship into scarps. But this is a soap after all, and there there is always space for the unexpected. So, does that mean there is still scope to save this relationship from doom, or is it truly the end?
“What’s coming is bad,” Mark Grossman tells soapssheknows. Uh-Oh, that does not sound promising at all, and we can already sense Adam and Sally fans squirming in their seats. Mark explains that Chelsea is really spiraling under the weight of their hook-up secret and guilt. So, Adam does understand her position, however, he still feels that they should just bury the secret and move on in life with their respective partners.
Unfortunately, Adam can’t have his way since Chelsea has already confessed everything to Billy, and now there is no stopping Billy from confronting Adam and exposing him to Sally. “Billy is relentless. Adam is about to be backed into a corner, and he’s not left with any way out,” Mark admits. Adam has been lying through his teeth, but it is going to meet a bitter end.
But hey, there is still a mini ray of hope for Adam and Sally fans! Mark thinks that it may not be the ultimate end for the couple. “I love them together. And they’ve been through so much, especially the heartbreak of losing their daughter, Ava. But they are so good together,” The Young and The Restless star adds in support of his thought.

Furthermore, Mark expressed that Sally and Adam can be a pair of schemers and they both have some terrible tendencies, but that’s exactly what makes them work as a couple. Having said the above, Mark does admit that when you cheat on someone it is a little hard to come back from that, but he hopes that Sally would eventually be willing to look past it.
“Given everything that was going on with Chelsea and Adam. There was all the trauma with their son, and then there was alcohol involved. So maybe Sally can find a way to forgive him,” Mark hopes. Although how this shakeup affects Connor is a different story altogether. So, Y&R fans have a lot to look forward to in the upcoming episodes.
