Jack’s Apology Crashes At The GCAC
Jack Abbott tried again. He spotted Diane at the GCAC and went in for yet another plea. Big mistake. Diane understands the facts about Victor’s scheme. She knows Victor had Jack kidnapped, drugged and manipulated. But knowing something and forgiving it are two entirely different things. She blasted Jack hard, turning the focus back to his night with Patty Williams. Drugged or not, she says Jack still made a choice.
Then things got messier. Jack made the blunder of bringing up Victor mid-apology. Diane shut that down fast. She admitted she is too angry to move past this. She then joined Kyle for dinner and made one thing crystal clear: Jack was not invited. Kyle tried to broker peace, gently nudging Diane about the tension brewing at Jabot. She refused to take a leave of absence. When Kyle asked if she wanted him to hate Jack, Diane suggested maybe just a little. Kyle looked lost. Traci, meanwhile, pulled Jack aside at the Abbott mansion and urged him to keep fighting.

Meanwhile, Cane Ashby has been making cold, calculated moves all week. Today, he circled back to Holden Novak with a job offer. The catch? Holden would have to manipulate Claire Newman to extract intel on Victor. Holden turned it down flat at Crimson Lights. Still, Cane’s scheme is very much alive. Holden then cornered Lily Winters after Cane walked away from her icy. He warned her that Cane has “something big” brewing against Victor. Will Lily heed that warning?
Cane and Lily’s exchange was frigid. He was done talking after all those ignored attempts at reconciliation. Lily had earlier discussed Dominic’s abduction with Devon, who is furious that Mariah is heading to a psychiatric facility instead of prison. Devon vowed to go after the judge and district attorney personally. Lily thinks the mental health route is best. The two are at odds, and today that divide deepened.
Abby Newman Pulls Her Strings
Then there is Abby. She was willing to accept justice through a trial and a conviction. What she was not willing to accept was Mariah walking into a mental institution and eventually strolling back to Genoa City. Abby discussed the situation with Daniel Romalotti, who pushed for healing. Abby, however, is not in a healing mood. She reminded the room exactly who she is: a Newman, an Abbott and practically a Chancellor. She has strings to pull, and she intends to pull every last one.
