Does this career break mean she is finished with Walford for good? Keep scrolling to learn more.
Natalie Looks Back At The Advice She Never Forgot
While speaking with Chris Moyles, Natalie remembered one strong piece of guidance that helped her in adult responsibilities. The BBC soap’s legend Steve McFadden told her to buy her first flat. And that one single piece of advice made a huge difference in the actors’ lives.
Natalie shared, “Steve McFadden told me to buy my first flat. Remember, lovely Steve? Phil, as you know. “Get a flat…I did very, very well. But it’s nice though, isn’t it? It’s good,” the actress had stepped away from the Square last year. It happened when her character Sonia decided to start fresh in Bali with Bianca, Bex and Hope.
The actress added, “Had it ages. Ages and ages. Sold it. I haven’t always been good with money. Tax bills and all of that. You know, great big tax bill. You have to go into Big Brother and sit in a bath of blue liquid!” Natalie also opened up about what she wants next. She spent years shooting nonstop and it took a toll.
Now, she wants to enjoy herself with her family. Also, she loves comedy. But now she wants to try a darker role. Later, Chris mentioned a detective role. And Natalie looked all warmed to it.
Natalie’s Final Storyline In EastEnders
Sonia was heavily involved with Reiss Colwell. However, she was unaware that he had murdered his comatose wife, Debbie. In fact, she was wrongly charged with the crime. But soon her sister gave a confession to free her. Also during the show’s 40th anniversary, Sonia’s former husband, Martin Fowler and fiancé Reiss both died.
Later, Sonia also met her biological father, Terry Cant. However, she soon discovered that he had dark motivations. He physically abused her sister.
