Princess Kate and her husband travelled 100 miles away to their country home in Norfolk. Why? The couple wanted to enjoy some alone time this Easter with their little trio, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Moreover, they were joined by Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton.
According to Hello! magazine, the Wales family attended an 11 a.m. service at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham. It’s the same place where Kate and her family usually gather for Christmas. Paul Williams, the local vicar, gifted everyone hot cross buns as they exited the back entrance of the church.
Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time the Prince and Princess of Wales have ditched royal tradition for some family time. Back in 2016, William, Kate, and their kids skipped the Windsor crowd on Christmas Eve. Instead, they had a more down-to-earth celebration in Bucklebury.
George and Charlotte were spotted munching on candy canes as they exited church. As for Louis, he attended his first royal service only in 2022. Furthermore, Prince William has always been very close to his in-laws. .
