Danny was one of the most hated villains of the soap. Despite this, fans believe his exit from the soap happened too early. As we all know, Danny had stabbed Dennis Rickman to death. He did so on the orders of crime boss Johnny Allen. Danny even showed the murderer’s video to his brother, Jake Moon. And Jake was horrified, realising how mentally unstable Danny had become.
Months later, Johnny asked Danny to kill Phil and Grant Mitchell. So, Danny marched the brothers into the woods. He was armed with a shotgun and a spade. His only intention was to execute and bury them. However, he was unaware that Jake was following them into the woods to stop him.
To save the Mitchells, Jake fired a pistol to only wound Danny in the arm or leg. However, the shot was fatal. Hence, Danny was killed on the spot by his own brother. And now fans are recalling that he was cut too early from the soap.
