According to them, if they bring him back, it would be a terrible return story. As we know, Gray exit came when Chelsea Fox secretly recorded his confession to murdering his first wife. When he realised he was recorded, he tried to strangle Chelsea. However, he fled when the police arrived at their home.
But then he was cornered on a railway bridge by Whitney Dean. He also confessed to murdering Kush Kazemi to her face. After which, he tried to jump from the bridge. However, Whitney and Mitch Baker pulled him back to safety. Soon, he was seen being driven away in a police car.
