Coronation Street has taken Will Driscoll’s storyline into even darker territory, as the fallout from Megan Walsh’s arrest begins to hit him where it hurts most, his everyday life. While the truth behind the scandal continues to unravel, tonight’s episode showed that for Will, the real battle may just be starting.
Megan’s Arrest Leaves Will At The Centre Of The Storm
The drama has been building for weeks, ever since Sam Blakeman finally exposed the inappropriate relationship between Megan Walsh and Will. What started as whispers quickly turned into a full-blown scandal, putting both Megan and Will under intense scrutiny across Weatherfield.
Megan tried to brush off the allegations at first, insisting nothing had happened. However, Eva Price was not convinced and quickly called the police, which set the investigation in motion. Despite Megan continuing to deny everything, the situation only grew more complicated.

During questioning, the police admitted they had no solid evidence to act on. Still, Megan’s refusal to take a DNA test regarding her secret pregnancy raised serious doubts. Even Daniel Osbourne, who had been defending her, found it hard to continue standing by her after that decision.
At the same time, Will attempted to protect his teacher. He claimed that he had only developed a one-sided crush and that Megan had rejected him. However, this version of events has only pushed him further away from those around him, leaving him increasingly isolated.
Will Struggles As The Truth Isolates Him From Everyone
In tonight’s episode, the emotional toll became clear. Eva was surprised to find Will hiding in the pub’s back room instead of being at school. When she asked him about it, Will admitted that everyone had been pointing and laughing at him since Megan’s arrest.
Ollie tried to support him, telling him that hiding would only make things worse and encouraging him to face the situation. But Will shut him down quickly. He responded sarcastically, saying he should not be hiding and should just go out there and get on with it, before storming off.

Later, while at the Rovers, Will overheard some customers laughing and joking about wills. Already feeling targeted, he assumed they were laughing at him. In that moment, the pub felt just like school. Clearly shaken, Will said that everywhere feels the same now, with everyone talking about him. The pressure is following him wherever he goes, leaving him with no sense of escape.
The teasing and constant attention are beginning to weigh heavily on him. With no safe space left, not at school, not at the pub, and not even at home, Will is struggling to cope with everything around him.
This raises a major question. Will the pressure eventually force him to admit the truth about what really happened, or will he continue to carry the burden alone as things spiral further? One thing is clear: this storyline is far from over, and Will’s struggles are only getting more intense. Stay tuned to Soap Opera Daily for more Coronation Street spoilers.
