Debbie’s stress follows her even while she sleeps. After everything that happened at the garage, including the gun drama involving Carl and Fiona, Debbie is haunted by troubling nightmares during the night.
The pressure continues when she heads off to work and immediately clashes with Tracy Barlow over a flower order for the Chariot Square Hotel. With her anxiety already running high, Debbie struggles to keep her emotions under control as more problems begin piling up throughout the day.
Debbie Upsets Two Important Customers
Things go from bad to worse when the hotel hosts a gender reveal party. Debbie accidentally causes trouble by revealing that the couple are expecting a baby boy after taking a look at the balloon order before the big announcement.
Ryan Connor tries to calm the situation, but another disaster follows when a balloon suddenly bursts. The loud bang leaves Debbie terrified as she mistakes it for gunfire. In a panic, she starts talking openly about the missing gun, raising questions about whether others will become suspicious.
Lisa Struggles With Betsy’s News In Coronation Street
Betsy finally shares some exciting personal news with Lisa and Carla. After securing a place at the London College of Fashion, Betsy reveals that she plans to move away to continue her studies.
Carla is delighted by the opportunity and encourages Betsy to follow her dreams. Lisa, however, finds it much harder to accept the idea. The thought of Betsy no longer living at home leaves her worried about the future, forcing Carla to try and ease her concerns.
The Aftermath Continues For Sam In Coronation Street
Sam attends a meeting with a psychologist at the mental health unit and receives a difficult but important update. He learns that schizophrenia will always be part of his life, although medication can help him manage the condition successfully.
During the conversation, Sam mentions that Roy Cropper visited him the previous evening. Nick Tilsley gently explains that the visit never actually happened. Sam then admits that he would like to see the real Roy, leaving Nick with an important decision to make.
Gary’s Gesture Makes Everything Worse In Coronation Street
Gary Windass gathers his family at the café and surprises them with news that he has booked a holiday to the United States. Liam, Jake and Izzy are thrilled by the unexpected announcement and quickly begin looking forward to the trip.
Maria Connor is far less impressed. Instead of seeing the holiday as a generous surprise, she suspects Gary is acting out of guilt. It’s because she still believes he is secretly involved with Sarah.
