Roy Cropper’s days might be numbered after a heart attack. Viewers already know that the cafe owner has been under immense stress recently. He was falsely accused of murdering missing teen Lauren Bolton and had to endure time in prison. To make things worse, he had to confront far-right extremist Griff Reynolds.
Thankfully, his prison nightmare ended when Nathan Curtis was arrested for Lauren’s disappearance. Even though his name has been cleared, Roy still struggles to turn his life back to normal. He has been isolating himself but Shona convinces him to go out by pulling a trick.
