He recently spoke about his and his family’s close bond with pop sensation Taylor Swift. He gushed that young Taylor greatly helped him during his tough time, leaving Swifties in awe. During an interview with WREG, the WWE Hall of Famer said that Taylor Swift lent a helping hand to his family when he needed the most.
The 14-time Grammy winner babysat his daughters, Joslyn, Jaclyn, and Jerlyn, when his late wife, Jill Gregory, had breast cancer. Jarrett said Swift was just 17 when she babysat his kids. The pro wrestler continued that the Bad Blood singer was very good to his family during their dark time, calling her a “friend of the family.”
Jarrett’s wife, Jill, died in May 2007. However, Swift took care of her daughters during that challenging period. Jarrett shared that Taylor Swift used to come to his place, take the girls baking cookies, and just hang out with them. The wrestling legend said, “Taylor was like a big sister.” They had a good time together.
While many believed Swift was on a payroll, Jarrett shared that he never hired Taylor Swift as his daughters’ babysitter. She actually did this out of kindness, leaving fans in awe.
