EastEnders spoilers for the forthcoming week reveal that Kathy, Ian Beale, and Lexi Pearce will head off to the US to meet Ben Mitchell. Callum Highway will not be able to join them as he hasn’t been able to get the time off work to go and meet his estranged husband.
Following this, Johnny Carter jumps at the opportunity and is determined to cheer up an upset Callum. Viewers know that Johnny kind of has a crush on Ben’s husband and the duo has been interacting for a while now.

When Johnny plans to take his crush out, Callum will show resistance and turn him down. Things get worse for Callum when he misses a call from Ben. Later, Honey Mitchell bumps into him and insists that he shares a drink with her to discuss things. During a heartfelt conversation between the duo, Honey gently reminds Callum that he cannot stop his life and needs to live a little and go out with Johnny.
After this interaction, Callum becomes eager to hang out with Linda’s son. However, his happiness is short-lived after Billy Mitchell comments that he is moving on from Ben rather too quickly. This makes Callum feel horrible about the whole situation. What will he do now? Ben and Callum have been away from each other for a while, and in a true soap universe, Callum will definitely take steps towards Johnny.
