Tina and Mandy had been hiding a huge secret for decades. However, the cat is now out of the bag, reveal the latest Emmerdale Spoilers. In some really shocking scenes, Tina reveals to Vinny that she is his biological mother. Unfortunately, she leaves no room for Mandy to give any sort of explanation about what had actually happened all those years ago.
After learning the truth, Vinny leaves Mandy distraught by announcing that he is disowning her, confirm Emmerdale Spoilers. Even though years ago Mandy did confess to Vinny that she wasn’t his biological mother, yet, she did not tell him that Tina was his mother. Thus, when he found out the truth from the latter, he felt betrayed by Mandy and refused to forgive.
“Vinny thought that he was clued up on his past, and he was happy with that,” Bradley Johnson explained his character’s perspective to Digital Spy. Furthermore, he added that Vinny has always appreciated that Mandy took him under her wing and gave him this amazing life. “That’s what makes Mandy and Vinny so close. Even though she’s not his biological mother, to him she is.”
The soap star revealed that in the upcoming episodes, Vinny begins to feel that his entire life has been a lie. “Vinny knows that Mandy lies through her teeth sometimes, but he never thought that she’d tell such a big lie to him,” Bradley explained. So, it seems that he is angry and distraught, and he completely resents Mandy at this point.
Reactions from the other Dingles aren’t any different. The entire family stands by Vinny and feels what Mandy has done is horrendous. They will be demanding answers from her at some point. However, Bradley also admits that deep down Vinny probably knows that Mandy may have lied to protect him from getting hurt.
