He gives her an ultimatum: either stay in his life or accept £50,000 along with Zak’s (Steve Halliwell) will and leave forever. Despite their differences, Pollard accepts Caleb’s assistance and is later assured by Dr Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) that his brief paralysis was a side effect of missed medication. Chris Chittell hinted at a change in Pollard’s attitude: “Pollard’s pride takes a hit, but there’s a bond forming between him and Caleb that he didn’t expect.” Is this a genuine truce, or will their old animosities rear up once again?
