Recently, Chanel found out that not only has Johnny been hiding the truth from her, but her father-in-law knew it too. Moreover, EJ DiMera, tried to pay Joy a large sum of money to just bolt from Slem. Days of Our Lives Spoilers reveal that Chanel was furious to know that EJ has been meddling in her marriage behind her back. This may cause her to take some more steps back when it comes to making a decision about remaining part of the family.
Chanel has always known that DiMeras were toxic, but she did not expect Johnny to lie to her. So, this revelation has given her a whole new perspective about their marriage. Sadly, it is not a great one. In the upcoming episodes, things may become more complicated for her if she finds out that she is pregnant. You may recall that Chanel and Johnny had hit the sheets on NYE just hours before the dirty truth came out!
So, there is a chance that in just a few weeks, Chanel will find out that she is pregnant. But what will she do? It is unlikely that she’ll terminate the pregnancy. She didn’t do that even when her previous pregnancy was complicated. In fact, after losing that child, she may feel all the more motivated to bring this one into the world. But will she want to raise the child as part of the DiMera family? We highly doubt it, especially under the given circumstances.
It is possible that she’ll decide to keep her pregnancy a secret from Johnny until she recahes a decision about their marital future.
