EJ DiMera has no concept of boundaries when it comes to protecting himself or someone he loves, confirm Days of Our Lives Spoilers. He recently proved the above by making Joy Wesley a lucrative offer for skipping town. However, he did not hesitate to issue a veiled threat along with it. You know, just in case Joy decides to reject his offer. EJ is just not the sort of guy who takes no for an answer. And right now, he just wants Joy gone from Johnny’s life.
By now, we all know that Johnny basically took a “joyride’ after wrongfully assuming that Chanel was cheating on him. Days of Our Lives Spoilers spill that Johnny misread Chanel and Alex’s connection as “something more.” He thought that they were having an affair and sleeping together. Which, of course, wasn’t true at all, and he soon learned his folly. Unfortunately, by then, he had already hit the sheets with Joy Wesley.
Now, Johnny and Chanel have reconciled and all the confusions between them stand cleared. In fact, they even want to try for another pregnancy. However, Johnny is still keeping his hookup with Joy a secret. Chanel has no idea that her hubby slept with another woman behind her back. If she learns the truth, it could severely damage Johnny and Chanel’s marriage. Perhaps this is why EJ DiMera took it upon himself to help save his son’s marriage.
He told Joy that he could give her a sizable financial fortune if she would just pack up and skip town. He also issued a veiled threat implying scary consequences if she rejected the offer. Now, it is possible that Joy isn’t running behind money, but EJ is offering a truckload of it. Any person would be at least a little tempted to consider the offer. However, on the flip side, Joy may think that taking the money could take away her chance of starring in Body & Soul and ultimately cost her an acting career!
It is possible that she may confide in Johnny about the offer, but oh, he is going to fly off the handle when he finds out. The spoilers tease that Johnny will face off with EJ and slam him for threatening Joy. He may even succeed in making his father back off. But if Joy stays back in town, chances are high that the secret hookup will become public. Would it mark the end of Johnny and Chanel’s story?
