A remarkable character is all set to leave EastEnders just after three years of entering the soap. Matthew Morrison who played the role of Felix Baker’s journey will soon come to an end. Felix To Bid Goodbye To EastEnders?
Morrison, who played Felix, made history by playing a regular drag queen on EastEnders for the very first time. His drag character was known as Tara Misu and fans absolutely loved his confidence and witty humour in both his characters on the soap.
He entered the show as the part of Baker-Taylor’s extended family. His character Felix came to the town with his father Avery and brother Finlay. He was initially introduced as the nephew of Mitch Baker. He is the last member remaining in the family on the soap and the makers have decided to let go of him as well. His exit is set for the end of this year, BBC’s spokeswoman told The Sun. They also wished him well for his upcoming endeavours.
Matthew’s Journey as Felix And Tara!
Before making his debut on the iconic show, Morrison said, ‘He feels blessed to play such a fierce role as Tara Misu.’ The talented soap star also added, ‘It is a privilege for him to represent the LGBTQIA+ community.’ Matthew has at times has also mentioned it is an honor to showcase such a role as drag is an artform which admires really.
We know his character will be missed on the soap opera. Fans truly loved both Felix and Tara and the way he portrayed both the characters. But sadly we have to say goodbye to him.
