EastEnders actress Shona McGarty has shared some behind-the-scenes glimpses of her upcoming project. She has hit the recording studio once again. EastEnders Stars In New Project!
EastEnders’ former actress Shona is a well-known, amazing vocalist. Besides acting, she has released many tracks for charities for Great Ormond Street Hospital and Mind. It seems she is back with something exciting again. The 32-year-old actress recently took to her social media and shared a picture of her in a recording studio.
In her post, the actress wrote, “The two most special days in the studio.” Furthermore, she was alongside Steve, a producer and musical director. She added, ‘ It feels good getting behind the mic and dusting off her old vocals again.’
McGarty also penned that she can’t wait to share what they created with her fans soon. Diane Parish, who played Denise Fox alongside her on the soap, commented, “Can’t wait to hear.” Whereas Harry Reid, who played Ben Mitchell too, wrote that the soul angel is back “and her 20 deck”.
Her fans and followers showed their excitement about the same in the comment section. She was recently seen in the drag and cabaret tribute to the 40-year celebration of London’s most iconic soap. And it was indeed one of the most ‘chaotic, camp, and utterly unhinged tributes.
Shona’s Stint on the Soap
The venue was transformed into the famous Queen Vic. Legacy characters like Sharon Watts, Vanessa Gold and Pat Butcher were part of the celebration. Even Queen Vic herself was brought to life on stage. Shona McGarty left the soap after her character Whitney Dean faced huge betrayal. Her best friend Lauren Branning slept with her partner Zack Hudson.
And she even ended her relationship with her sister Bianca Jackson, as she knew about this and hid it from her. She has been part of very intense plots over time.
