A fresh murder theory is about to shake Weatherfield, and this time, Tracy Barlow is the one asking questions. Theo Silverton’s death has already left the Cobbles full of suspicion, but when Danielle Silverton returns for his funeral, Tracy notices something that could make everyone look at the case differently.
Tracy Barlow Points To A New Suspect
Tracy Barlow would not be the first person anyone would ask to solve a murder. She loves gossip more than justice, and her own past is not exactly clean. She once killed her boyfriend during a striptease, but that does not make her a true crime expert.
Still, Tracy never keeps her thoughts to herself. With Theo Silverton’s murder becoming the biggest topic on the Cobbles, she comes up with a theory that may actually make sense. Sadly for Todd Grimshaw, this theory brings even more trouble into his life.
Right now, six Weatherfield residents are on the suspect list as more details from the night of Theo’s death come out. Todd is one of the main suspects because Theo tortured and abused him during their toxic year-long relationship. Theo pushed Todd to breaking point, so people have started to wonder if Todd finally snapped.
But Todd is not the only one under suspicion. George Shuttleworth, Todd’s friend and mentor, is also on the list after he noticed Theo’s warning signs along with Christina Boyd. Summer Spellman is another suspect because Theo left her to die. Gary Windass is also being watched closely, especially because he was Theo’s angry ex-best mate and has a violent past.
Danielle Silverton Returns To Weatherfield
So far, Gary has looked very guilty, and people have also started pointing fingers at Summer. But there is one person who has not been looked at properly yet. That person is Theo’s ex-wife, Danielle Silverton. Danielle had many reasons to hate Theo. He ended their marriage so he could be with Todd, and he left her to raise their two children. His choices hurt her deeply, and his death now brings all that pain back to the surface.
Her last visit to the Cobbles also did not go well. Sarah Platt, who was worried about Todd, asked Danielle if Theo had ever been violent towards her. Danielle became angry at the question, but she never clearly said no. That small detail now feels very important.
Danielle returns to Weatherfield for Theo’s funeral, and she shocks Todd with a major revelation. Before the funeral, she visits Preston’s Petals to buy flowers. That is when Tracy starts thinking like Miss Marple and begins to wonder if Danielle could be hiding something.
Tracy’s Theory Starts To Look Serious in Coronation Street
After Danielle pays for Theo’s funeral flowers, Tracy suggests that Danielle may be set to receive a good inheritance. This makes George think about a possible motive for murder. Could money be the reason someone wanted Theo dead?
Danielle then makes herself look even more suspicious. She gatecrashes Todd’s meal with friends at the Bistro and publicly accuses him of killing Theo for his life insurance. Her words leave Todd shocked and put him in a very difficult position.
Mary Taylor quickly defends Todd. She suggests that Danielle may be trying to move attention away from herself because maybe she killed Theo. Mary’s words match Tracy’s theory, and suddenly Danielle looks like a much bigger part of the mystery.
Then Ryan Connor adds another twist. He follows Danielle out and tells her that he saw her near the crime scene on the night Theo was killed. With that detail now out in the open, Tracy’s theory may not be just gossip after all. Danielle may have a lot more explaining to do.
