“Yes, oh my gosh. So it’s the first one-hour black soap opera centered around a black family, and that is the Duprees. They are wealthy, they’re fancy, they’re elegant and have so many secrets. They take care of their family. They’re loyal,” Michelle said while talking about the fictional Dupree family.
The actress also spoke about how meaningful the experience has been for her. “And I am just so grateful to be a part of something so historical and monumental, especially in the time we are in right now. And we’re a big family here, so I’m excited to be on the show,” she added.
Michelle currently plays Eva Thomas, one of the biggest secrets hiding inside the Dupree family. Eva is connected to Ted Richardson’s past affair, which instantly places her at the center of major family drama. The storyline has already become one of the most talked-about parts of the soap.
