The family photo quickly caught the attention of fans because it marked a new milestone for the Belgian royal family. Seeing all four children at such an important event made the evening even more memorable.

Princess Eléonore Celebrates A Special Milestone

The banquet was especially important for Princess Eléonore, the youngest child of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde. The 18-year-old made her first public appearance wearing a tiara.

Princess Eléonore wore a tiara that had never been seen in public before. According to royal reporter Rick Evers, the piece was made by Brussels jeweler Coosemans. The tiara was sold at an auction in 2019 before becoming part of the royal collection.

Rick Evers also shared that King Philippe and Queen Mathilde gave the tiara to Princess Eléonore as a gift for her 18th birthday in April. Wearing it for the state banquet made the occasion even more meaningful.
