Grace Writer Is Also The Part Of The List!
The King’s birthday honours list has been announced. Many public figures from the entertainment world will be a part of it. The list includes the name of the MobLand star Dame Helen Mirren, who has been appointed as the Order of Champions of Honour for her services to drama.
Furthermore, Noughts & Crosses writer Malorie Blackman, who has been previously awarded an OBE, has been made a Dame. The Scarecrow’s Wedding writer, Julia Donaldson, who is a CBE, has also been made a Dame for her services to Literature. Meanwhile, film composer Patrick Doyle has been awarded a CBE in the King’s Birthday honours list for services to the film industry.
The list also includes the names of Rocketman director and star Dexter Fletcher and Grace author Peter James. They have been made an OBE for their services to Film and Television, Literature and Charity respectively. David Holmes has been made an MBE.
Lisa Riley Earns Major Royal Honour!
Meanwhile, the popular Emmerdale star, Lisa Riley, has also been awarded an MBE for her services to drama and Charity. The actor is known for playing the character of Mandy Dingle in the soap opera, and made her first appearance in the Dales in 1995. Though she left in 2000, she came back in 2019 and became one of the most popular stars of the show.
Mandy Dingle shares a good bond with Vinny Dingle. She is a supportive wife. She stood with Paddy during his mental health issues. Mandy also supported Paddy when he was hopeless at the time of Bear’s disappearance.
