Anita Gets Hopeful News At Last
Anita finally reaches a major milestone this week when she goes in for her final chemotherapy session. During an emotional conversation, Anita tells Ashley, “My last chemo session.” Ashley quickly tries to lift her spirits and says, “It shouldn’t be too much longer before you’re ringing the bell and on your way.” Feeling relieved and hopeful, Anita happily replies, “Hallelujah.”
This happy moment comes after Anita and Vernon spent weeks struggling through her difficult treatment journey. On Thursday, Anita and Vernon will also sit down with Dr. Bauer to talk about what comes next for her recovery and future treatment plans.
At the same time, Naomi continues pushing Jacob for the truth about Grayson. After everything that recently happened, Naomi wants answers and directly asks him, “Is Grayson who you’ve been investigating?” Jacob quickly shuts her down and replies, “You’re barking up the wrong tree.” Naomi refuses to back away and demands, “Then set me straight, Jacob. Right now.”
Grayson’s problems have been getting worse for days now. Last week, Ashley updated Naomi about Grayson’s stabbing. Things became even more serious after Lia threatened Grayson and pushed him into making a life-changing deal on Friday, May 8. Now, Grayson faces an even bigger crisis later this week when he receives a dangerous new deadline.
Friendships And Relationships Start Falling Apart
Andre also steps into the middle of trouble when he gives Izaiah some unexpected advice. Trying to warn him, Andre says, “Keep your friends close and keep your enemies closer.” However, Izaiah seems confused and answers, “I thought Ted and I were cool.”
That warning may become important very soon because Ted’s problems with Shanice continue getting worse. Last week, Ted and Shanice already clashed over Leslie, and now Ted argues with Leslie again on Monday. By Friday, Ted becomes desperate enough to ask Monica for help with Shanice.
Ashley also deals with more emotional stress this week. Derek apologizes to her on Monday, but things do not get easier afterward. Naomi later shares news that deeply affects Ashley, and tensions explode when Ashley and Grayson get into a heated argument.
Elsewhere in Fairmont Crest, Joey creates fresh drama when he confronts Smitty. Later, Joey also lands himself in trouble with Vanessa. Smitty meets with Tomas to talk about Lynette, while Jacob starts realizing that the plasma ring operation may finally be coming to an end. Eva and Izaiah also face trouble after saying things to each other that they cannot take back.
