Jodie Refuses To Give Up On Destroying Shona’s Life
Jodie Ramsey’s revenge mission against her sister has been simmering for months. After quietly settling herself into life at No.6, she spent every opportunity getting closer to David Platt while secretly blaming Shona for abandoning her as a child and leaving her behind with their abusive father.
Things spiraled even further when Jodie discovered the heartbreaking letter she had written to Shona as a little girl. While Shona insisted she had never received it, Jodie became convinced her sister had lied all along because the letter had been kept for years. The discovery pushed Jodie completely over the edge.
Her revenge then took a disturbing turn when she put on Shona’s lingerie, lit romantic candles, and climbed into bed waiting for David to return home drunk from Swarla’s wedding. Jodie pretended to be Shona in a desperate attempt to seduce him, but the plan completely backfired when David rejected her advances. Despite the humiliation, Coronation Street producer Kate Brooks confirmed that Jodie has no intention of backing down.
Harper’s Situation Could Become Jodie’s Next Weapon
Even though David branded Jodie a “Glenn Close” after rejecting her, the danger is far from over for the Platts. Kate Brooks teased that Jodie may now exploit another vulnerable area in David and Shona’s relationship. That’s the ongoing stress surrounding baby Harper.

Next week, Daniel discovers Jodie in his flat after she gets thrown out by the Platts. True to her nature, Jodie immediately starts manipulating the situation to convince him to let her stay.
