However, his plan backfired as Ronnie found out that he only owed half of it. Debbie rejected Carl, so he planned revenge.
When Ronnie attacked Carl, he went to the hospital. He made an audacious bid to get some money by blackmailing Debbie. Carl asked her to sign half of the shares of the hotel; otherwise, he would report Ronnie to the police.
