Jodie Ramsey’s disappearance has left Shona Platt extremely worried in Coronation Street, but the latest episode finally showed what really happened to her. While the police think Jodie may have been kidnapped after dangerous men arrived in Weatherfield, Jodie herself seems completely calm. In fact, she looks happy knowing that her actions have already started causing problems between Shona and David.
Jodie’s Actions Leave Shona Terrified
The recent flashback episodes finally revealed more details about the dead body discovered by Betsy Swain. One of the episodes focused on Jodie Ramsey and showed just how far she was willing to go to destroy Shona’s life.
Things became even more serious when a teenage girl named Olivia arrived on the cobbles looking for Jodie. Olivia was someone Jodie used to look after. As soon as Jodie saw her, she panicked and tried to throw her out of the house.
Shona then confronted Jodie, who claimed that she had stolen a hard drive from her dangerous ex, who is Olivia’s father. Jodie said she took it as protection so he would not kill her. However, it was not clear whether she was telling the truth or simply making up another story.
Shona became horrified after hearing that dangerous people could now be connected to her family. She told Jodie to leave Coronation Street immediately for everyone’s safety. At the same time, Jodie also caused trouble between David and Shona after trying to seduce David while pretending to be her sister.
Jodie Is Alive And Secretly Watching Everything
Jodie sent David a text from Shona’s phone and waited for him while wearing lingerie. David almost made a huge mistake before quickly realising what was going on. He later admitted everything to Shona, but surprisingly, Shona seemed far more worried about where Jodie had disappeared to.
Kit Green later told Shona that the police were treating Jodie’s disappearance as a kidnapping. They believed the dangerous men seen in Weatherfield the previous week could be involved.
In Wednesday’s episode, Shona left another emotional voicemail for her sister. She told Jodie that what happened with David no longer mattered and that she only wanted to know if she was safe.
Viewers then saw Jodie sitting alone on the swings in the precinct while listening to Shona’s message.
