Coronation Street: Kit Green Finally Asks Sarah The Big Question
Kit finally proposes to Sarah in upcoming scenes after waiting for what he believes is the right time. He remains completely unaware that Sarah has been hiding her involvement in Theo Silverton’s death and the cover-up that followed.
During a private moment at their flat, Kit gently takes Sarah’s hands and tells her how much he loves her. He then pops the question, leaving Sarah overwhelmed and emotional as she wonders whether she can accept while continuing to live a lie.
“The proposal comes as no real surprise – Sarah recently found the engagement ring after all,” points out our Corrie spy. “Kit originally planned to propose a few weeks ago, but his plans were disrupted by the dramatic dinner party that took place.
“Later that week, the element of surprise was ruined when Sarah stumbled across the engagement ring and Kit confirmed that he’d wait for the perfect moment to ask for her hand in marriage! But now that the moment has come, how will Sarah feel about it?”
Sarah’s Secret Makes The Proposal Even Harder
Sarah is already in deep turmoil because she continues to hide the truth about Theo’s death. She killed Theo and then teamed up with Gary Windass to cover up the crime, leaving her with a secret that could change several lives if it comes out.
The situation becomes even more complicated because Kit has been investigating the mystery alongside DS Lisa Connor-Swain. Although Kit is taken off the case this week, he has grown frustrated by his failure to make a breakthrough. And still has no idea that the person responsible is living under his own roof.
With Kit finally ready to make a lifelong commitment, Sarah must now decide whether she can say yes. The proposal may offer everything she wants.
