Coronation Street To Air Rob Donovan’s Love Story
Coronation Street spoilers confirm that the drama on the soap has hit the roof ever since Rob Donovan made his way to the cobbles last month. Viewers will remember Rob as the charming yet deadly villain who met his downfall after brutally killing Tina McIntyre. The sinister character came back in action for her sister Carla Connor’s wider kidney transplant storyline.
And it looks like the imprisoned life wasn’t exactly dull for him with a romance storyline brewing up. Spoilers relay that Donovan will soon be caught up in a love affair with a guard. As per The Sun, former Shameless actress Rebecca Atkinson will portray the prison officer in discussion, Mandy. The publication described the storyline as ‘”a much-needed risqué plotline. Will have to wait and see whether or not Mandy gets caught by prison bosses.”
Rebecca is best known for playing man-eater Karen Maguire in Shameless for almost a decade. She has also starred in River City, Flatmates, and Silent Witnesses. We recently saw Rob’s shocking return take a dramatic turn when a hostage situation arose last week between him and Matty Radcliffe. Even though Rob saved the day, something tells us that this is all part of a big plan.
