Taking to Instagram, Vicky told fans she felt “so, so sorry” about missing the Glasgow date on 24 September. She explained that last-minute changes to her schedule made it impossible to attend, despite every possible option being explored. She emphasised that the decision was completely out of her control. To soften the disappointment, Vicky confirmed that Sue Devaney, known for playing Debbie Webster, will step in for her.
Vicky described Sue as “the legend and utterly glorious Sunshine Sue Devaney.” She added that she was certain Sue would be amazing on the night.
