Theo’s murder mystery has already sent Coronation Street fans into detective mode, but one theory is now dominating online discussions. After recent scenes left several major questions unanswered, viewers have started wondering whether the ITV soap is secretly building toward a shocking group-killer twist involving Summer, Gary, and George.
Fans Think Theo’s Death Could Have Multiple Killers
The biggest theory currently circulating online compares Theo’s murder storyline to Murder on the Orient Express. One fan suggested that instead of revealing a single killer, Coronation Street could expose several characters who all played a part in Theo’s death.
The theory focuses heavily on the last time Theo appeared alive onscreen. During the tense confrontation inside Todd’s flat, Theo cornered Summer and aggressively threw her phone out of the window. Fans now believe that moment may hold the key to everything that happened afterward.
One Reddit user explained their theory by writing, “I think it might be a Murder on the Orient Express type scenario where everyone had a hand in it. The last time we saw Theo alive was in Todd’s flat when he cornered Summer and threw the phone out of the window.”
The same fan continued, “My guess is that George was out on his walk and saw it being thrown out, at the same time as Gary came around the corner. They both went up to the flat where Theo was about to hurt Summer and the three of them offed him together.”

Fans quickly started debating whether Summer could realistically have killed Theo alone. Several viewers pointed out that the soap still has not explained how she escaped from the terrifying situation or what eventually happened to the phone Theo threw away.
