Coronation Street: Gary Finds Himself Under Suspicion Again
Gary Windass has spent years trying to move on from his troubled past, but recent events have put him back in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.
Even before the latest episode, Gary was already on many fans’ suspect lists. He was furious when he discovered that Theo had been abusing Todd Grimshaw. Given Gary’s history of protecting people he cares about, many viewers believed he had a strong reason to confront Theo.
There was also another clue that linked Gary to the case. Earlier in the storyline, fans spotted him in the background of a selfie taken by Tim and Sally Metcalfe on the same night Theo died. At the time, it seemed like an important detail, but nobody knew exactly what it meant.

Their partners have started to notice as well. Maria Connor has become convinced that Gary and Sarah may have slept together. At the same time, Kit Green has focused on a very different possibility.

A Shocking Flashback Changes Everything
Just when it looked like Gary had escaped further questions, Coronation Street delivered one of its biggest twists yet.
As Gary walked away from his conversation with Kit, viewers were taken back to the night Theo died. In the flashback, Gary stood on scaffolding holding a metal pole in his hand. He then looked over the edge and stared down at Theo’s body.
The scene immediately raised new questions about Gary’s involvement. Was he the person who killed Theo, or did he arrive after the incident had already happened? The flashback certainly made him look guilty, but the mystery is not yet solved.
