Fan favorite Coronation Street stars Daniel Brocklebank and Peter Ash, who used to portray Billy Mayhew and Paul Foreman, respectively, were spotted enjoying a reunion. Long-time viewers know that the two actors were part of an intriguing storyline before their departure. We witnessed them when Paul was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. He passed away after his health took a bad turn.
As for his partner, Billy, he was not able to reach the hospital in time to say goodbye. Earlier this week, Brocklebank and Ash made all our wishes come true when they took to Instagram and shared a picture from their night out in London. The caption of the picture read, “Reunited! In that there, London!” Corrie fans were obviously on cloud nine after watching these two spend time together and share an emotional storyline.
One of them said, “We miss you 2 boys being together,” while another added, “Oh, Paul, you are missed so much.” There was another fan who admitted, “Wish we could go back to the days we saw you both on screen together every night.” In 2023, Peter Ash told Digital Spy that this character would be involved in a major storyline leading towould heart-wrenching exit.
He told the outlet, “I had mixed feelings, obviously. I’ll be sad to leave the show. It’s been such an amazing job, and I’ve met fantastic people. “But also, I’m quite happy to be involved in such a powerful storyline that hopefully will bring awareness to MND.” We sure miss watching the two icons together, do you too?
