Coronation Street served up plenty of drama on Monday night, as Summer’s future looked more uncertain than ever. While she struggled to cope with the reality of what could happen next, Tyrone found himself holding information that might finally change everything.
Elsewhere, Sam’s disturbing visions took an even darker turn, while David desperately tried to repair the damage he caused at home. Here’s a closer look at everything that happened.
Summer Struggles To See A Way Forward
Todd arrives at the hospital to support Summer and brings Nina and Asha along with him. Although they’re all determined to be there for her, it quickly becomes clear that Summer is finding it difficult to stay positive.

Now that doctors have confirmed she is well enough to leave hospital, Summer knows the next stage of her ordeal is approaching. The thought of returning to prison leaves her devastated, and she admits she can’t stop thinking about what awaits her once she leaves the safety of the hospital.
Fiz Spots A Way Out Of Tyrone’s Mess in Coronation Street
Tyrone finally decides he can no longer keep his secret from Fiz and tells her everything. He explains how Carl was accidentally injured during the incident at the garage and admits that he later lied when Summer wanted him to back up her account of events.

While Fiz is shocked by what she’s hearing, she refuses to let Tyrone feel sorry for himself. Instead, she points out that Carl isn’t exactly innocent either and reminds Tyrone about the footage showing Carl tampering with Kevin’s brakes. She urges him to stop letting Carl control the situation.
Carl Gets More Than He Bargained For
Encouraged by Fiz’s advice, Tyrone arranges a meeting with Carl. He decides to tell him the truth about what happened on the night of the accident. Carl listens but remains convinced that Tyrone should face the consequences.

However, Carl is caught off guard when Tyrone suddenly turns the tables. Refusing to be intimidated, Tyrone warns that he is prepared to expose Carl’s own actions if he continues causing trouble. For once, Carl realises he may not have all the power.
A New Twist Could Change Summer’s Fate
With Carl no longer holding the same influence over him, Tyrone finally makes an important decision. He knows there is information he should have shared much sooner.

Tyrone promises that he will go to the police and reveal that he remembers seeing Theo alive after Summer’s confrontation. The statement could become a major turning point in the case and finally give Summer a fighting chance of proving her innocence.
Sam Receives A Frightening Warning
Sam continues to be troubled by the dark version of Roy that keeps appearing to him. The latest encounter is even more unsettling as the vision once again focuses on Will.

When Sam insists that he would never deliberately hurt anyone, the sinister figure makes a shocking claim. It tells him that Will’s water bottle has already been tampered with ahead of the athletics meeting, leaving Sam terrified that his friend could be in serious danger.
David Hopes A Thoughtful Gesture Will Help
David is still feeling guilty after ruining Harper’s hospital photoshoot by losing her five-month milestone card. Knowing how much the moment meant to Shona, he is desperate to make amends.

Wanting to show how sorry he is, David presents Shona with a special gift box filled with precious memories. Inside are Harper’s ultrasound photos, her hospital bracelet and a onesie for the day she is discharged from hospital.
The gesture is heartfelt, but whether it will be enough to smooth things over remains uncertain. Stay tuned to Soap Opera Daily for more Coronation Street spoilers and behind-the-scenes updates.
