Kit Green has been dodging the wreckage of his own decisions ever since Mick Michaelis came storming back into his life. The old mates share a tangled past, one that includes a devastating betrayal. Years ago, when Kit and Mick set off fireworks in a corner shop as teens, it was Mick who got caught, while Kit legged it and left him to take the fall.
Mick did time. Kit became a copper. And ever since they reunited, the tension between them has been simmering dangerously close to boiling over. That heat only intensified when Mick put two and two together and figured out that his son Brody might actually be Kit’s, thanks to Lou’s fling while Mick was locked up.
Kit Faces the Wrath of the Wrong Person in Coronation Street
Now, it’s Brody who’s seeing red. After receiving a call from his dad in prison, the troubled teen gets it into his head that Mick is innocent of the brutal attack that left Craig Tinker dead. Never mind the evidence, Brody’s convinced the police stitched Mick up, and he’s ready to take revenge.
When Kit returns home, he finds his flat in chaos and Brody right in the middle of the destruction.
The teen launches into a furious rant, accusing Kit of being the real villain and claiming there are more criminals in uniform than behind bars.
Kit tries to reason with him, explaining that the evidence clearly points to Mick as Craig’s killer. But Brody’s not having it. The minute Kit tries to warn him about his father’s violent ways, Brody snaps, shoving Kit into the wall in a fit of rage.
A Narrow Escape and New Questions
Just when things look like they’re about to get much worse, Bernie Winter and Sarah Platt arrive on the scene. They catch the tail-end of the scuffle and Brody bolts, hoodie up, desperate not to be seen. Bernie and Sarah rush into the wrecked flat, but what kind of shape will they find Kit in?
