Actor Hints At Martin Platt’s Awaited Comeback

ITV star Paddy Bever is excited about Martin Platt’s rumoured return. Bever, who plays Martin’s adoptive grandson Max Turner, revealed to The Sun at the Radio Times Soap Awards that Sean Wilson, who plays Martin, might be returning to the show. 

And guess what? His comeback is expected to be part of Gail Platt’s big exit storyline. Bever confirmed that he was definitely looking forward to working with the actor. Although he hasn’t met him yet, he has heard many positive things about him. However, Wilson hasn’t confirmed his return yet.

The couple has a son, David Platt. In 2005, Martin left Weatherfield after meeting his girlfriend, Robyn. His last appearance was in 2018 when he told David he was emigrating to New Zealand with his family. Gail’s is due by the end of the year, and so is Martin’s return.
