Coronation Street fans will see trouble for Leanne Battersby’s new romance next week. Things seem perfect between Leanne and Idris Nazir at first, but a shocking decision by Idris soon causes problems.

A Romantic Trip Takes An Unexpected Turn
Leanne is enjoying her new relationship with Idris, and next week he treats her to a romantic stay at the Chariot Square Hotel. The trip gives them a chance to spend some quality time together away from the stress of everyday life.
The break comes at a good time for Leanne. She has been worried about her stepson Sam Blakeman and has been doing everything she can to support him. Idris knows how much Sam means to her and how concerned she has been.
The next morning, the couple enjoy breakfast in bed. Idris then suggests staying at the hotel for another night. Leanne is delighted by the idea and heads to the bathroom to get ready.
While she is out of the room, Toyah Battersby calls Leanne’s phone. Idris sees the call coming through, turns off the ringer, and chooses not to tell Leanne about it. A Corrie insider warned: “This is a massive red flag – it’s giving controlling and manipulative vibes.”
Idris Shows A Different Side Of Himself In Coronation Street
The insider suggested that Idris’s behaviour should worry Leanne. Although he has seemed charming so far, his decision to interfere with her phone raises serious questions.
“He might be handsome, but this is not a good look for Idris. What right does he have to mess with Leanne’s mobile and basically screen her calls? It’s outrageous behaviour and really concerning because, if nothing else, it proves that Idris is totally selfish.”
Leanne has kept her phone close by because she wants to be available if Sam needs her. Sadly, because of Idris’s actions, she never sees Toyah’s calls and remains completely unaware that something is wrong. As Toyah continues trying to reach her sister without success, she starts to believe that Leanne is choosing her new romance over her family responsibilities.
