Coronation Street Spoilers for Next Week (29th Sept-3rd Oct): Carla Explodes at Becky, Bethany Faces the Police!

By Roy

Next week on Coronation Street (Monday 29th September to Friday 3rd October), Carla Connor finds herself face to face with someone she’d rather see gone for good, and her temper won’t stay buried for long. Over at the police station, Bethany Platt is back but not for a cosy reunion. And as Tyrone Dobbs finally returns home from hospital, the man responsible for his accident watches on in silence.

Carla’s Fed Up With Becky And She’s Not Hiding It

Carla tries to keep things civil when Betsy brings Becky Swain over for a meal, but things go south pretty quickly. Becky starts picking at Lisa’s food like it’s no big deal, going on about wanting a bit of normality, but Carla’s not buying it. She loses her patience and tells Becky straight up that it’s obvious what she really wants, and normal life isn’t it. Then she turns to both of them and says they’re deluding themselves before storming out.

CS/ What will Carla do now?

Carla heads straight to the police station and vents to Kit Green, telling him she doesn’t trust a single word of Becky’s story. She thinks there’s more to all this than Lisa and Becky are letting on. Becky’s whole “back-from-the-dead” thing isn’t sitting right with her, and now Kit’s caught in the middle of Carla’s frustration. Question is, will he actually do anything with the info she’s just dumped on him? And how’s Lisa going to handle Carla turning against them like that?

Coronation Street: Bethany’s Return Comes With Baggage

Bethany’s back in Weatherfield, but not just for a cosy family visit. She’s actually at the police station being questioned by Kit, who finds her waiting in one of the interview rooms. She tells him she left her job in London and took her boss’s car without asking, drove it all the way to Manchester, and now she’s facing theft accusations. Kit’s caught between being a copper and being her mum’s boyfriend; bit awkward, really.

CS/ Bethany confesses to Kit

Later, Bethany opens up to Sarah and says she left the job before they could fire her, and yep, she’s planning on staying. But things are going to get tricky fast, because her ex, Daniel, soon finds out she’s back. Considering how things ended between them, you can imagine that’s not going to be smooth sailing. Between the police trouble and the old relationship wounds, Bethany’s return isn’t exactly a warm welcome.

Asha’s Pain Bubbles Under The Surface

Asha is clearly still reeling from everything she’s been through. She’s drinking more than she should, and Nina notices right away. The next day, Asha sits outside the hospital watching paramedics in action, completely withdrawn and not saying much. Her whole vibe screams that she’s not coping well, even though she’s trying to keep up appearances.

CS/ Asha’s life is changing

Sienna pops into the shop and mentions to Dev that Asha hasn’t returned to work like she said she would. Dev confronts her, and Asha storms out, embarrassed and upset. Eventually, she tells Dev she feels good about retracting her complaint, but deep down, you can tell she’s still not okay. Naomi’s abusive behaviour has left its mark, and even though Asha’s putting on a brave face, the struggle is still very real.

Coronation Street: Carl Gaslights Debbie To Keep His Affair Hidden

Abi’s not exactly thrilled to be meeting Carl at the hotel and tells him she’s not in the mood for anything physical. She’s also dreading her birthday dinner with Kevin and Jack. Meanwhile, Carl, shady as ever, is texting his other lover, James Bailey, behind her back. Things get even messier when Debbie sees Abi with a hotel key and starts asking questions.

CS/ Abi and Carl are exposed

Abi claims she stayed there ages ago and just forgot to return the card, but Debbie’s sure she’d remember something like that. Carl then jumps in and blames her confusion on her dementia, which leaves Debbie feeling embarrassed and humiliated. Later on, though, Debbie checks some CCTV footage and sees Abi heading into Carl’s room. She hammers on the door, and the next day, gives Abi an ultimatum: pack your bags and get out, or she’s telling Kevin everything.

Theo’s Shady Past Crashes His Night Out

Theo’s still putting on that charming act around everyone, comforting Danielle at the Bistro, agreeing to help Billy with the soup kitchen, all the usual nice-guy stuff. But the cracks start to show when he snaps at Todd and Billy for no reason. Later, he fakes hurting his finger while helping Mary and smirks to himself as Todd rushes to help. That smug smile says it all.

CS/ A darker turn

Things take a darker turn that night when Theo and the gang head out to the gay village. It all seems like a fun night out with Todd, James, Glenda, Sean, Mary, and Christina… until a man named Owen recognises Theo and looks completely spooked. Theo stares him down until he leaves, then pulls him aside later and tells him to back off. After arguing with Todd, Theo storms out and doesn’t come home. The next day, a bloke named Jake hands in Theo’s phone at the Kabin, and Todd starts to panic. Where is Theo?

Coronation Street: Jenny’s Trick Leaves Rita Embarrassed

Jenny’s trying to get ahead in the dating game, and with Glenda on her side, she gets first go at George during dating night. But things get sneaky when Rita calls to say she’s had a fall. Jenny uses the chance to make George leave the event and rush to her side, playing up Rita’s condition to get some sympathy and alone time with him.

CS/ Things get worse for Jenny

George brings soup and fusses over Rita, but the truth comes out when Brian reveals it’s just a sprained ankle. Jenny admits she exaggerated, saying she liked the attention, and apologises to Rita for dragging her into it. But Rita’s not thrilled at being used like that. Now, Jenny getting ready to leave Weatherfield soon, this little stunt might’ve just cost her a proper goodbye. Meanwhile, Christina catches Glenda’s list of her “pros and cons,” and George finds himself stuck in more dating drama.

Tyrone Comes Home, But Carl’s Still Hiding the Truth

Tyrone finally comes home after weeks in the hospital recovering from the hit-and-run. He’s got a long road ahead with physio, but he’s slowly regaining feeling in his legs. Fiz brings him back in a wheelchair, and everyone’s happy to see him; Debbie, Brian… and Carl.

But Carl’s the one who knocked him down in the first place, and he’s pretending like nothing ever happened. Ty has no idea. Carl’s keeping his cool for now, but with all this guilt piling up, and everything else going on, it’s only a matter of time before the truth slips out. Next week on Coronation Street, there’s more than one character who risks losing everything. Stay tuned to Soap Opera Daily!
