Kit becomes suspicious after he sees Gary and Maria having a heated argument. He tells Lisa about his concerns, but she reminds him that he is no longer part of Theo’s murder investigation. Still, Kit cannot stop thinking about the case. Meanwhile, Maria tells Sarah that her marriage is falling apart, while Sarah admits to Gary that keeping their secret is becoming too difficult.
Gary begs her to stay quiet and warns that telling the truth could send him to prison. Later, Sarah returns home and finds that Kit has prepared a romantic lunch. He then gets down on one knee and proposes. Overcome with guilt, Sarah tells him that she was the one who killed Theo.
After Sarah’s confession, she and Kit try to work out what happens next. However, Kit secretly starts looking into Theo’s death again. When DC McLaughlin refuses to share any updates, Kit comes up with his own plan. He believes the evidence on Gary’s phone could ruin Sarah’s future, so he tells her to get the device before the police do.
Kit also secretly asks the technician wiping Gary’s phone to send any recovered information to his personal email address. But time may be running out, as DC McLaughlin tells Lisa that the police are finally ready to arrest Theo’s killer.
Betsy Is Rushed To Hospital After A Scary Collapse
Betsy wants to impress Dylan by making breakfast, but her plan goes wrong. Dylan steps in and shows her how to cook spaghetti bolognese. He also promises that they can make their long-distance relationship work when she moves to London. However, the happy moment does not last.
An ambulance soon rushes Betsy away from No.6. At the hospital, Ryan tells Carla that he found Betsy unconscious on the kitchen floor. Lisa then learns that doctors need to carry out an urgent MRI scan. Things get even worse when Dylan arrives and sees Betsy suffer what appears to be a seizure. Lisa and Carla can only watch as the medical team rushes to help her.
Dylan later buys gifts for Betsy and hopes to cheer her up, but he soon learns that Lisa thinks he may be responsible for her collapse. Betsy begs her mum not to blame him, but Lisa’s suspicions continue to grow. Sean also becomes worried when Dylan refuses to visit Betsy with him.
Lisa then openly accuses Dylan and goes to the police to report a crime. Lauren tells Dylan that Betsy does not want to see him, even though she has deliberately pushed him away. Soon after, Fiz is shocked to see the police arrest Dylan in the precinct. Betsy is horrified when she learns that Lisa reported him. Then, Dylan makes a shocking claim of his own and says Brody was really responsible for what happened to Betsy.
Cassie Decides She Must Come Clean To Steve In Coronation Street
Tyrone tries to spend some quality time with his father, but a golfing injury leaves him with a painful back. Meanwhile, Bernie notices that Cassie looks uncomfortable whenever Ross is around. She soon learns that Ross is blackmailing her and tells Cassie not to let him control her. Ross claims he truly wants to build a relationship with Tyrone, but tensions in the family continue to grow.
Tyrone starts to think something is going on between Cassie and Steve, so he begins asking questions. What he discovers leaves him shocked. Cassie then learns that Ross has spent the night with Tracy. She tries to warn Tracy that Ross is not the man he seems to be, but Tracy refuses to listen.
Later, Cassie sees Tracy and Ross kissing. She then watches Ross enter the Bistro carrying flowers and decides to stir up trouble. Tracy soon starts to doubt Ross. Tyrone and Hope both warn Ross about Tracy’s reputation, but he does not listen. However, Ross becomes confused when Tracy suddenly starts treating him coldly.
He clears up the misunderstanding about the flowers, but decides to put their romance on hold so he can focus on fixing things with Tyrone. Ross later confronts Cassie and tells her to stop interfering in his life. After Tyrone has already thrown her out, Cassie finally decides that it is time to tell Steve the truth.
Chesney Worries About How To Pay Joseph’s School Fees in Coronation Street
Joseph quickly gives Chesney and Gemma his latest school report before rushing away. They are worried to discover that he has often failed to hand in his homework on time. Gemma tells Bernie that the busy and noisy home is making it hard for Joseph to concentrate.
Bernie offers a simple solution and suggests that he use No.7 as a quiet place to study. However, the family soon faces a much bigger problem. Chesney learns that Linda’s holiday rental business has failed, which means she can no longer pay Joseph’s school fees at Oakhill.
Chesney does not want Joseph’s education to suffer, so he thinks about taking out a loan to cover the fees. Bernie is horrified and worries that the family could end up in serious debt.
However, some good news finally arrives. Gemma and Chesney tell Joseph that his granny Linda has managed to find the money after all. This means Joseph can keep his place at school.
Mary And Christina Clash Over A Surprise Flash Sale
George and Christina return home and are shocked by what they find outside the house. Mary has organised a flash sale, and several of Christina’s recent purchases are among the items she is selling. Christina is furious, but Mary refuses to change her mind.
She points out that Christina bought the items using her bank card, so she believes she has every right to sell them.
Mary continues to make sharp comments about Christina’s careless spending. However, Christina soon notices another problem. She checks a delivery notification on her phone and realises that another package is about to arrive.
